Monthly Observance
New Moon Service
The New Moon Service is one of the most sacred observances in the Celestial Church of Christ. Held at the beginning of each new month, this special service is a time of consecration, thanksgiving, and seeking the face of God for the month ahead. Members dress in white, the church is filled with prayer and praise, and God moves in extraordinary ways.
"Blow the trumpet at the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast day."
— Psalm 81:3
